WHISPERS OF HOME

I believe we experience Home - our true home- when we are in a state of peace. It need not be a singular physical place, and it means we can be ANYWHERE and feel at Home.

Connecting with nature is that place for me. Nature, as in the physical natural world; and also as in my own nature. The more I connect with and honour my own true nature, the more at Home I feel.

These artworks are my attempt to evoke in the viewer a sense of peace or joy: helping you feel your way home.

Including monoprints of grasses and leaves found around my own physical home, these collages incorporate elements of landscape and nature as well as layering of patterns to represent the memories and experiences that coalesce to create our sense of Home.
