12" x 12"
Acrylic, pen, oil pastel, on canvas
Have you ever had the experience after someone dies, that you start seeing a particular bird or animal show up in the strangest places at significant moments? That happened here with wedge tailed eagles after my father-in-law died (I found myself thinking I should write ‘passed away’ - why do we use such a nebulous and vague term? As if to use any version of the word ‘death’ is somehow too harsh?)
These visits from wedge tailed eagles sparked a deep curiosity - painting something is the best way I know to get to know and understand it.
Unframed, stretched canvas painted gallery-wrap style ready to hang on your wall.
